Close your eyes and picture yourself in an All-American diner with pink gingham tablecloths, waitresses in matching dresses, poppy socks and white sandals looking like retro versions of Heroes cheerleader Hayden Panatierre and just take in that unmistakable aroma of hot dogs steaming away ready to be served in soft bridge rolls.

Open your eyes and you’re right there at home with this Retro Style Hot Dog Steamer doing the job for you! Just prior to serving pop the rolls into the handy bun storage compartment to warm, carry to the table and bring over warmed plates and retro napkins (not supplied) for a retro rock-n-roll hot dog session. Add Elvis Presley on the record player, (or one of those strange modern digital devices if you prefer), and you certainly won’t have a “wooden heart”. Instead you’ll “love them tender” in your “blue suede shoes”, you’ll be “all shook up” like a lovely “teddy bear”.

The heating element and steaming tray is at the bottom, the hot dogs sit in the middle, and the buns are added at the top, to warm through shortly before serving without affecting their consistency. Alternatively if you are catering for a larger group, you can put hot dogs in both the middle and top compartments and warm the rolls separately.

The steamer compartment warms 12 hot dogs in just 12 minutes, and the whole unit can store up to 24 hot dogs when both drawers are used.

The unit uses a UK standard 13 amp, 240v lead.
