Classic Bluetooth Nintendo Controllers
Classic Bluetooth Nintendo Controllers
The iconic NES and SNES controllers have found a new lease of life in the form of wireless bluetooth controllers, which work great on Android, iPhone, Windows, and Mac – so anything with bluetooth capability!
These controllers work with any modern game or app that supports external controllers. If you want to turn back the clock and play the games you grew up with, all you need now is a suitable controller, and an emulator of your choice. The emulator is an app that acts as your console.
NES Bluetooth Controller
This is an slightly improved version of the 1983 classic NES controller, with 2 modifications. This version has 4 buttons on the front of the controller instead of just 2 as originally designed. On the top you will also find R and L buttons. The controller has its own built-in battery, which is charged through the supplied USB cable. Completeing the package is a handy case, which works as a stand for your phone or tablet.
SNES Bluetooth Controller
The wireless remake of this iconic controller keeps the same design, same touch, and same feeling as the original. A built-in battery powers the controller, which is recharged through the supplied USB cable. Battery life is quoted at 20 hours of gameplay. This controller even works with a Nintendo Wii! Available in US and Japanese/European versions.
To use these controllers to play classic Nintendo games on your smartphone or tablet, you’ll need an emulator.
- Emulators for Android: Nostalgia.NES Pro is a great NES emulator. SuperLegacy16 is probably the best SNES emulator out there. Both are available on the Play Store.
- iOS users will have to jailbreak their devices to install an emulator.
