Edible Spray Paint
Edible gold spray paint to make your food look like it came straight from Sheikh Mansour’s plate.
We are truly living in a golden age for baking, with the Great British Bake Off inspiring people across the nation to get back into their kitchens and make ridiculously elaborate cakes and other baked goods.
If you’re one of those people who feel like channeling their inner Mary Berry then you’ll need this addition to your kitchen shelves. With edible spray paint, even the worst looking cake can be tarted (get it? tarted, like a tart) up to look delicious and dazzling.
With about £3.85 in loose change of gold and silver paint rattling around in my stomach, I can attest to the fact that both colours have actually no taste at all, meaning your food is not only still safe for eating, but still tastes good (assuming you can actually cook).
You could try and achieve the same effect by wrapping your cakes in foil after baking them but this is not recommended due to the inedible and metallic nature of foil. If retaining the taste and edibility of your baking is important to you then really there is no other option – this spray is going to be right up there with baking trays, sugar and an oven in most important components of your baking routine.
